Wix,
one step at a time.

Use this guide together with your personal SiteRestyle connection card. Your records are prepared for your own domain, not copied from another site.

Need your exact DNS values? After payment, open your personal domain card on the same device. Copy its TXT record; do not guess a website IP or CNAME. The website routing records are supplied separately after the hosting connection is prepared.

Do this in Wix

  1. Open Domains → Domain Actions → Manage DNS Records.
  2. In TXT (Text), choose Add Record. Paste the Host Name and Value from your personal card.
  3. Save, then return to SiteRestyle to check ownership. Keep any email-dependent service active.
  4. When exact web routing values arrive, edit only the specified A and www CNAME. Wix may show a blank root Host Name instead of @.

Before you call it connected

We check the root domain and www, HTTPS, redirects, images, important existing URLs and inquiry delivery. DNS propagation can take time. We also verify email dependencies before you cancel old hosting.

Keep these records safe

Preserve MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, mail-related hostnames and unrelated subdomains. Don’t remove all records or disable DNSSEC as a shortcut.
